    We Are Hiring

    Location: Oshkosh, WI

    Facility Name: Mercy Hospital

    Schedule: Full-Time

    Base salary: $325,000 for 175 day shifts

    Sign-on bonus: $50,000

    Seniority bonus (7+ years post-residency experience): $10,560

    Relocation assistance (if applicable): Up to $10,000

    Productivity incentives: 2.5% Quality Metric bonus annually

    $4,000 CME allowance

    Malpractice coverage with tail

    What You Will Do

    This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Hospitalist to join an employed, full-time daytime position within a busy, well-respected practice at Ascension Mercy Hospital.

    • Join an Established Team: Collaborate within a close-knit daytime environment alongside 2 daytime rounders and 1 dedicated APP, supported overnight by 1 Nocturnist to ensure smooth handoffs.
    • Practice Setting: Dedicated inpatient rounding with a highly desirable, sustainable workload averaging just 10–14 patients daily.
    • Clinical Flexibility: Focus on medical management with zero procedure requirements, though you maintain the clinical autonomy to perform them if desired.
    • Optimal Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a highly predictable 7-on/7-off schedule (12-hour shifts) requiring only 175 shifts per year to maintain full-time status.
    • Board Certification: Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
    • Licensure: Eligible for an unrestricted Wisconsin state medical license and DEA registration.
    • Lead Inpatient Recovery: Evaluate and treat acute and chronic conditions with precision, acting as the primary attending or consulting physician to guide patients safely through their hospital stay.
    • Champion Care Cost-Effectiveness: Partner with a collaborative team to improve clinical quality metrics and patient safety, ensuring high-value care across the campus.

    What You Will Need

    Licensure / Certification / Registration:

    • One or more of the following required:
      • Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
      • Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Advanced Life Support preferred.

    Education:

    • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
