How you'll make an impact in this role

• Capture flawless diagnostic images by masterfully positioning patients, selecting exact technical exposure parameters, and administering contrast media safely within your regulated scope of practice.

• Champion radiation safety by strictly following clinical guidelines, safeguarding patients from unnecessary exposure, and diligently monitoring their well-being throughout every procedure.

• Streamline the diagnostic pipeline by promptly submitting high-quality images and accurate patient data to PACS, ensuring physicians have immediate, reliable records for treatment planning.

• Maintain peak operational readiness by verifying that all imaging equipment is functioning perfectly, managing room cleanliness, and proactively locking out or reporting technical malfunctions.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Florida Radiologic Technology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
