Wise Path Recovery Center is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Director of Nursing (DON) to lead nursing operations within our substance use disorder and behavioral health treatment program.
This is a hands-on leadership role for an RN who can balance clinical excellence, strong team leadership, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day operations. The DON will serve as a senior member of the treatment team and work closely with medical, clinical, operational, and executive leadership to ensure patients receive safe, compassionate, recovery-oriented care.

About Wise Path Recovery Center
Despite its name, Camp Baer is not a traditional camp. It is a premier residential substance use disorder treatment center located in a chalet-style lodge nestled within the wooded mountains of West Virginia. The facility provides high-end, evidence-based care and attracts patients from across the country seeking treatment in a private, restorative setting.
Wise Path Recovery Center provides treatment and support for individuals navigating substance use disorders and co-occurring behavioral health conditions.
Our approach is grounded in person-centered, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented care. We believe exceptional treatment requires an interdisciplinary team that works together, communicates well, and holds itself to high standards of clinical quality, safety, and accountability.

You are a strong clinical leader who knows how to balance compassionate patient care with operational accountability.

Work Environment
This position works primarily within a behavioral health treatment environment and may involve exposure to infectious disease, bodily fluids, medical emergencies, or individuals experiencing behavioral or emotional distress.
The role requires the ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations, manage competing priorities, and support staff during clinical emergencies or behavioral escalations.
The position may require standing, walking, bending, assisting with patient care, and occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.
