Job description

Research Produce and present content with the highest journalistic standards as per Asharq’s Editorial Guidelines.
Present in a manner which is engaging, easily understandable by making complex information understandable by non- subject matter audience
To provide timely, expert and authoritative news coverage and analysis on news and events of interest to the audiences
Work closely with insights team to understand the performance of programme to Improve ratings of assigned bulletins or programs
Generate ideas and stories which contribute to the creative treatment and be involved in the production of the show.
Ensure Consistency and Safeguard the content, quality and editorial style
Lead interviews with local/non-local subject matter experts & figures
Optimize the use of social media/new technologies to develop & deliver content to our audience
Liaise with team members and internal stakeholders to ensure that output material is shared, duplication is avoided, and best practice is governed.
Build and maintain diverse contact lists and databases to widen network
