Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying challenges and delivering timely solutions to maintain the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and ensuring that business processes are supported effectively through diligent problem-solving and system analysis.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to improve system reliability and performance by analyzing recurring issues and implementing preventive measures.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall technical capabilities.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize support activities and align resolutions with business objectives.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Planning and Budgeting (EPBCS).
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose and troubleshoot complex application issues.
- Experience in managing and supporting enterprise-level financial planning and budgeting solutions.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to understand system dependencies and impacts.
- Familiarity with system monitoring tools and incident management processes.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively document issues and interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Planning and Budgeting (EPBCS).
- This position is based at our BDC11 - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
