Solution Architect

Anglicare Southern Queensland are seeking a Solution Architect to join our Technology and Digital team based in Fortitude Valley.

In this role, you will provide consistent, in-depth solution architecture across our project portfolio, helping deliver technology solutions that align with enterprise standards and business needs. You will design and document solution architectures, present clear options and trade-offs to support decision making, and provide expert guidance on technology opportunities and impacts.

Reporting to the Enterprise Architect, you will also play a key role in ensuring vendor and project designs meet architecture standards while supporting application portfolio simplification and continuous improvement initiatives.

How you will help make a difference

• Produce and maintain documented solution architectures that align with enterprise standards and patterns.
• Provide clear technology options, feasibility assessments and impact analysis to support informed business decisions.
• Recommend practical solutions by leveraging existing platforms, configuration over customisation, and standard integration patterns.
• Review and assure vendor and integrator designs against architecture standards and support project governance and sign-off activities.
• Identify and manage architectural risks, technical debt and solution lifecycle considerations.
• Contribute to application portfolio simplification, rationalisation and system retirement planning.
• Develop reusable solution patterns and reference designs to improve delivery consistency and efficiency.
• Conduct architecture reviews and contribute to continual improvement initiatives and future solution planning.

What you will bring to the role

• Current National Police Check OR Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
• Tertiary qualification in IT or related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Demonstrated ICT experience in solution architecture across multiple concurrent projects within a complex business environment.
• Experience providing design assurance of vendor and systems integrator work.
• Demonstrated experience with SaaS-dominant application portfolios and integration platforms such as Boomi or equivalent.
• TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification and Azure Solutions Architect certification are desirable.
• Business analysis or consulting experience would be highly regarded
• Experience with aged care, health or community services solution landscapes is desirable.
