Support Services Worker

Our Kilcoy Home and Community Service is seeking a Support Services Worker to join our team on a permanent part-time basis.

This is a vital role within our community services and is an excellent starting position for a career in Aged Care or Community Services. We are looking for motivated people to provide invaluable domestic assistance to our clients around their homes with general household cleaning, laundry, cooking and social support.

This role will service across the Kilcoy area and surrounding suburbs (Jimna, Woodford, Delaney's Creek, Moore).

We are offering 40 hours per fortnight, with possibility in the future of increasing.

About the role:

• Ensure cleaning and other service standards outlined by Anglicare are met
• Ensure duties are completed within the expected timeframe
• Use equipment as instructed to minimise risk of injury, and follow all manual handling and safe driving practices, in accordance with procedures and training
• The physical demands of this role may include standing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, reaching etc.

Requirements:

• Current Driver Licence and your own reliable vehicle
• Either a current National Police Certificate OR NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• A Certificate II or III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) will be highly regarded but not required
