Anglicare’s Home and Community service offers a range of supports and assistance to enable our older population to live their best lives in their own homes.

About the Role:
We currently have 2 Part-time Domestic Support Worker - Cleaner positions available to service clients across the Eight Mile Plains region. Our workers provide invaluable support by providing cleaning support to our clients in their homes. This support includes; vacuuming, laundry, sweeping, dusting, mopping etc.

Shift timings will be between Mon-Fri 7/8am - 3/4pm. No weekends. Minimum 3 days/27hrs per week availability is needed.

Service Areas Include: Cannon Hill, Carina, Carina Heights, Carindale, Murarrie, Holland Park, Holland Park West, Mackenzie, Mansfield, Mount Gravatt, Mount Gravatt East, Wishart, Upper Mount Gravatt

Pay-rate for this role will range between $32.65-$37.33/Hour depending on your experience.

About You:
We are looking for applicants that have:

• Experience in cleaning
• Comfortable in the use of housekeeping equipment
• Able to follow domestic care plans
• Clear communicator who can maintain professional boundaries with clients and their families
• Demonstrated ability to be able to work independently and effectively with the elderly
• A Certificate II or III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) will be highly regarded but not required

The following will be required of successful applicants: 

• Current Driver Licence and your own reliable vehicle
• A current National Police Certificate
