Support Services Worker (Kitchen)

Symes Thorpe Residential Aged Care Home located in Toowoomba is seeking a Casual Support Services Workers (Kitchen) to work afternoons/evenings. 

The responsibility of our Support Services Worker (Kitchen) is to assist the cook/chef in the preparation and serving of meals for residents.

This role is also responsible for the cleaning of designated kitchen utensils and areas, in accordance with the prescribed cleaning schedule.

These roles in conjunction with other roles in the facility, encourage physical and social independence, support a safe home-like environment and safeguards the dignity and privacy of residents.

Mandatory requirements:

• Current National Police Check
• Current NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) Worker Screening Clearance
• Certificate II in Hospitality (Kitchen Operations) or relevant (desirable)
• Open to working a 24/7 rotating roster including working on weekends and public holidays as required.
