About the Role
As a Residential Youth Worker, you will provide care and support to children and young people living in out-of-home care or at risk within their family environment. Your role is to help create a safe, stable and supportive setting that promotes each young person’s emotional, social and developmental wellbeing.
You will be the primary caregiver during your shift, supporting young people to build life skills, follow daily routines, and engage in age-appropriate activities. You will work closely with the Coordinator and Service Manager to implement trauma-informed support strategies for young people with complex needs.
A typical day may include:
Permanent Part-Time Rates starting at $40.48 per hour (excluding allowances).
