    Job description

Pave Your Own Way with the Association of General Contractors

AGC partners with Nebraska's leading construction companies and we have opportunities across the state for you. Get hands-on with your future in a highly stable industry. Construction industry employment will grow 19% between now and 2022, with workers making 13% more money than all other private business employees in Nebraska!

Founded in 1923, the AGC Nebraska Chapter is the only full-service statewide construction trade association that serves and represents heavy, highway, bridge, and municipal/utility contractors.

Construct a Great Career with an AGC Member Company

Our contractor members are currently seeking Construction Supervisors to assist with highway, bridge, and utility construction projects in your area. These are full-time, well-paying positions with competitive benefits! Start building the foundation for a successful career in construction as a Construction Supervisor.

    Role Overview:

We’re looking for leaders to plan, oversee and complete large construction projects from start to finish. With lots of moving parts at play, a supervisor needs to be a multitasking master with a can-do attitude and a love for seeing construction projects through to completion. A good supervisor has done it all. From knowing how to “run” a shovel, to running large equipment, to knowing how to oversee a large team, a good supervisor is the key to a successful project. You’ll need excellent communication, organization and time management skills in addition to your construction skills and knowledge. If you thrive under pressure and live by a schedule, you’re the perfect candidate for the role of supervisor.

    • Effectively lead construction team(s) and ensure teams have the necessary resources to execute projects on time.

    • Build collaborative, high-performing teams of construction employees; coach, mentor, and develop to ensure the success of all team members.

    • Create cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials and other variables; monitor project progress and deliver timely solutions to the customer.

    Job Requirements:

Member companies each have their own unique requirements based on their policies. By submitting your application, you will be considered by a multitude of companies within the AGC Association and evaluated against their requirements. For additional information, please contact us at [email protected].
