    Job description

    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team!     This position has flexible availability. Astera Health is offering the position from PRN up to 48 hours per pay period based off candidate availability. Astera Health offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life and retirement. Benefits are available for employees working at minimum 48 hours per pay period.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Formulates total treatment programs, adjusts program to each patient’s needs and condition to ensure a positive outcomes.
    • Carries out treatments in accordance with physician’s orders.
    • Contacts physician as needed concerning patient condition or progress to maintain continuity of care.
    • Works within the rural general setting for treatment pattern for all ages in areas of orthopedics, neurological and pediatrics therapy. This would include aquatic/pool therapy for all ages.

    Competencies required:

    • Ability to be flexible, organized, and to function under stressful circumstances.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Commitment to providing excellent customer service, patient care and overall experience
    • Understanding of health care system and continuum of care
    • Strong computer skills with ability to become skilled in EPIC with training

    Education and experience:

    • Graduate of Occupational Therapy program with active licensure
    • 3-5 years experience in Occupational Therapy role

    Pay or shift range: $32.63 USD  to $48.95 USD
