The Registered Nurse (RN) in the ambulatory practices functions as an integral member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team in providing patient care.
The RN systematically and continuously collects and assesses data related to patient health status to develop, execute and evaluate the plan of care.
The RN utilizes evidence to drive clinical decisions and practice related to individual and population health.
The RN considers factors related to safety and effectiveness in planning and delivering care.
The RN provides care in accordance with the NJ Nurse Practice Act.
The RN must successfully pass all required training to obtain security access to perform role, including EMR training, AMG clinical training, department specific clinical competencies, among others.
Will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served.
Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
Must have excellent communication, organization, and computer skills.
Must have the ability to work in a highly specialized area with a focus on patient safety and efficiency.
