Control Room Operator

Responsibilities

• To work on a 12-hour shift system as per the duty roster
• To operate the plant in accordance with load despatch requirements and weather forecast
• Manage equipment and systems following operational standards
• Keep informed about any issues arising by Power Block Operators, Solar Field Operators, and Cleaning Truck Drivers
  
• Advisory of issues to Shift Manager
• Propose improvements in procedures
• At shift end, attend meetings to discuss maintenance work progress, scheduling problems, near misses, interference issues to name a few
• Follow emergency response and evacuation
  Completing daily operation checklists.
