Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the Restaurant Manager in leading, coaching, training, and developing team members.
- Assist with recruitment, staff scheduling, performance management, and employee relations.
- Ensure all team members maintain knowledge of food and beverage menus, wine offerings, and service standards.
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring the facility, equipment, and service areas are maintained to company standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, receiving procedures, and par stock requirements.
- Ensure the restaurant is fully prepared for service with appropriate staffing, supplies, and operational readiness.
- Enforce company policies, grooming standards, health regulations, and service procedures.
- Maintain positive working relationships with Human Resources and support compliance with Industrial Agreements.
- Assist with financial tracking, inventory controls, and month-end reporting processes.
- Ensure all financial and credit transactions are handled accurately and securely.
- Stay informed of industry trends and local market competition.
- Coordinate with Reservations and Sales teams to support events and business needs.
- Deliver exceptional guest service by proactively addressing guest needs, inquiries, and concerns.
- Resolve guest complaints professionally and efficiently while maintaining a positive dining experience.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of resort amenities and dining offerings to assist guests effectively.
- Maintain a valid Health Certificate and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation requirements.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned from time to time.
- The Company operates a twenty-four (24) hour business. Therefore, you may be rostered to work shifts, which may change from time to time.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years college degree.
- Minimum of 1 year’s hotel/restaurant management preferable
- Previous hotel-related experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of service and F&B operations
- Solid negotiation, persuasion, communication, presentation and public speaking skills with high level of creativity and innovation
- Food Handler’s Certificate, First Aid and CPR
