Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure exceptional service, quality, and efficiency.
- Lead, coach, motivate, and develop team members while recognizing outstanding performance.
- Conduct regular team meetings and ensure staff maintain comprehensive knowledge of menus and beverage offerings.
- Inspect facilities, equipment, and service areas daily, reporting maintenance issues as needed.
- Ensure adequate staffing, supplies, and operational readiness before each service period.
- Monitor employee grooming, conduct, attendance, and adherence to company standards.
- Assist with staff scheduling, payroll submissions, training, performance evaluations, and workforce planning.
- Maintain inventory controls, oversee receiving procedures, and ensure par stock levels are maintained.
- Review sales, costs, budgets, and inventory reports to support financial goals and profitability.
- Ensure all financial and credit transactions are handled securely and in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and local market competition.
- Collaborate with reservations, sales, and other departments to support restaurant events and guest needs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and food handling standards, including maintaining a valid Health Certificate.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support kitchen operations.
The Company operates a twenty-four (24) hour business. Therefore, you may be rostered to work shifts, which may change from time to time.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years college degree. Hospitality degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years hotel/restaurant management preferable
- Minimum of 5 years in front-of-the-house operations
- Demonstrated knowledge of service and F&B operations
- Solid negotiation, persuasion, communication, presentation, and public speaking skills with high level of creativity and innovation
- Sommelier/Mixologist Certificate preferred.
- Food Handler’s Certificate, First Aid and CPR
