This position is responsible for all aspects of Dolphin Cay Photo Operations including maintenance of systems and all Photo Service Inventories and manages them daily to ensure proper counts and accountability. The Manager works closely with other levels of management throughout the department and the resort to better understand and effectively manage team-based goals and philosophies while maximizing revenues and maintaining high levels of guest quality and satisfaction.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for liaising with our software vendors daily to assist with troubleshooting all software and hardware issues to maintain systems and equipment efficiency.
Coordinates with software vendors for training and the rollout of new upgrades.
Ensure high level of customer service in assisting guests at retrieving photos at self-service kiosks and online portals.
Responsible for creating set standards for equipment used in the photo operations area. This includes extensive tracking and follow-up daily to ensure 100% compliance with equipment functionality, reporting equipment deficiencies and tracking.
Coordinates with the Director of Dolphin Cay Operations to recruit and develop a professional and dedicated operations team.
Responsible for all camera inventories and maintenance, developing standards for camera settings and team member training.
Encourages excellence in performance of Dolphin Cay Photo team through coaching, counseling, and recognition.
Ensure preparation of End-of-Day transactional reports for Dolphin Cay Photo Operations are completed and submitted to finance for audit in a timely manner.
Works closely with Dolphin Cay’s Director of Operations to achieve departmental goals.
Works closely with the marine specialist team and management to produce high quality photographs of guest activities related to the animal interactions at Dolphin Cay.
Aggressively monitors and anticipates service needs to ensure high quality and superior guest experience while assisting guests with questions, problems, and complaints.
Participates with all the Operations management in opening, closing and duty manager shifts when needed.
Performs other duties that may be requested from time to time.
The Company operates a twenty-four (24) hour business. Therefore, you may be rostered to work shifts, which may change from time to time.
Required Qualifications:
Previous experience operating large revenue generating high quality guest service-oriented organization.
Minimum of three years of experience managing the operation of a high-quality photography services operation is preferred.
College degree or equivalent experience in management, communications, and public speaking.
Knowledge and experience in the photography services industry is required.
Extensive experience in the development and management of an efficient, safety conscious, high quality, guest service-oriented organization.
Solid organizational, staff development, and team building skills and abilities.
The ability to anticipate and deliver superior guest service.
Demonstrates the ability to communicate in a clear and professional manner.
Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, planning, and coaching skills
Proficient in the use of computer software and systems.
