ENG.PRODUCT DESIGN TECHNICIAN - LEVEL I

Execute compliance requests of various International regulations such as ELV (GADCL), REACH, RoHS, PFAS, Prop 65, POPs, CMRT, EMRT, TSCA etc. Validate the received Material Data Sheets (MDSs), Work with cross functional teams, Suppliers, and Customers to obtain and or to provide material data sheets as per requirement. Creates and maintains specifications (MDS and SDS) of Filtration products per company, industry, national, and international standards, while positively impacting the organization's performance.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

Competencies:

• Execute compliance requests of various International regulations such as ELV (GADCL), REACH, RoHS, PFAS, Prop 65, POPs, CMRT, EMRT, TSCA, etc.
• Prepare Material Data Sheets (MDSs) as per Windchill BOM, ensure correctness of the MDS Structure to the Windchill BOM,
• Connect with suppliers to obtain MDS’s and or to obtain regulation declarations and or to carry out the required surveys of the compliance requests.
• Validate the received material data sheets and provide the feedback to the suppliers.
• Utilizes Computer Aided Design (CAD) data management tools for Windchill and other tools to carried out required information.
• Ensures application of company, industry, national, and international standards. Processes internal engineering work requests.
• Engages with required functional areas as needed.
• Participates in the maintenance of standards and practices which ensure quality.

Qualifications

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

High school diploma, certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience in an appropriate STEM field is required.
Regionally applicable certification or two year Associates Degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field of study may be required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
