Operations Supervisor

We are looking for (2) talented Operations Supervisors to join our team specializing in logistics for Atmus Filtration Technologies.

Location: Reno NV - Onsite

Travel: 40% to start with and 10% after.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:  

Provides operations leadership for small or medium-sized warehouse or Distribution Center, shift or department.

Manages one or multiple shifts of warehouse operations including transportation and packaging.

Provide safe working environment for all Atmus and contract employees.

Ensure internal and external customer requirements are met through the Atmus Operating System.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for ensuring Atmus values are demonstrated in site- this includes employee/labor relations, community involvement, diversity, health, safety, and environmental practices, fostering the right environment in the areas of safety, ethical behavior and financial compliance standards.
• Provides operations leadership and improvement focus for warehouse operations including transportation and packaging operations driving results, creating and monitoring measures, providing motivation, and setting expectations in safety, quality, production and cost.
• Establishment of startup site culture in alignment with the Atmus Way.
• Manage and develop supply chain capability; work with employees to set goals in training and development, performance, and career planning.
• Mentor and coach individual and collective talent to develop supply chain capability across the organization.
• Establishment and refinement of site SOPs of startup warehouse.

Qualifications

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

College, university, or equivalent degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related subject required. MBA preferred. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

• Experience/background in a startup warehouse environment.
• WMS/ERP system experience/background. RedPrairie a plus.
• Demonstrated proficiency of continuous improvement methods (5 why, fishbone, etc).

• Comfortable in a data-driven environment to guide decision making process.

Base salary range: $88,000 to $98,000/year 

Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.

Compensation and Benefits 

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, other personal and professional benefits.
