    Job Title: Promotions Manager

    Department: Promotions

    Reporting To: Regional Promotions Manager

    Employment Type: Full-Time

    Pay Transparency: $65,000.00/Yr. - $70,000.00/Yr.  

    Location(s): Chicago, I.L.

    Work Arrangement: On-Site

    The anticipated starting salary range for Chicago, I.L. based individuals expressing interest in this position is $65,000.00/Yr. - $70,000.00/Yr.  

    Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.

    Promotions Manager

    Audacy is seeking an organized, detail oriented and outgoing professional to support our Marketing and Promotions team in event management, promotions, and integrated marketing in the Central Region, with a focus on Chicago. Events include entertainment, music, sports, lifestyle and spoken word formats.

    Responsibilities

    What You'll Do:

    Marketing and Promotions:

    • Act as lead Marketing and Promotions Contacts for Chicago Stations.
    • Execution of contesting for stations in Chicago on air, online, via text and on site.
    • Manage prizing and winner fulfillment process
    • Write and post online material terms for station contests, and manage station promotions
    • Work with Regional Marketing Directors and corporate legal department to ensure contest and department compliance including but not limited to posting contest rules, material terms, maintaining contest files, and promotional agreements within company policy
    • Coordinate with Sales, Programming, and third-party partners on prize and promotion details
    • Listener relations, such as answering emails, phone calls, following up with winners for prize fulfillment, and collecting/processing necessary paperwork
    • Work closely with Regional Marketing Directors and Brand Managers to ensure stations positioning/branding is reflected in all marketing, imaging, promotions & digital media
    • Manage social media copy, & graphic design for Promotional Opportunities on all stations in Chicago as needed
    • Assist with recaps for corporate promotional initiatives for Chicago
    • Attend major station events
    • Act as liaison and lead between promotional partners and vendors
    • Other marketing/promotional dept. duties as assigned

    Sales Marketing Support:

    • Attend sales and/or promotion meetings as well as other station meetings as needed

    Skills/Attributes

    • First-rate organizational skills are a must to succeed in this position
    • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
    • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and multi-task
    • Experience using Microsoft® Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
    • Experience in Event Management in sports, entertainment, lifestyle or news formats
    •  Knowledge of promotion software, including but not limited to Vibes (mobile contesting),Audience (web contesting and user-generated content engine) and SPARC (promotion management software)
    • Occasional night or weekend work

    Qualifications

    More About You:

    Required & Preferred:

    • Five years' experience executing marketing/promotions campaigns, event management, and activation
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications preferred and/or equivalent experience and training
