The Records Specialist position in the Registrar’s Office is a customer service-driven and detail- oriented administrative position with a friendly team in an office setting. The Registrar’s Office provides services in the areas of registration, records retention, transfer evaluation, graduation, term/curriculum records, class scheduling, grade recording, document imaging, and veteran benefit certification. Our mission is to ensure the integrity of recorded data while providing timely service and communicating information regarding policies and procedures to the Augsburg University community.     Job Duties:

    • Triaging phone, e-mail, and in-person inquiries
    • Processing course registrations
    • Processing unofficial transcript requests
    • Processing other forms such as immunization forms and information release forms
    • Filing and scanning electronic incoming documents into appropriate designations
    • Additional clerical duties and projects as needed

    Work-study eligible students welcome.

    Compensation and Benefits

    • Rate of Pay: $16.45/hour
    • Minnesota Sick and Safe Time
    • Minnesota Paid Family and Medical Leave
    • Not eligible for health insurance benefits

    Required Qualifications:

    • Currently enrolled as a student at Augsburg University and be work-study eligible.
    • Good communication skills
    • Adaptable and open-minded
    • Attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Positive attitude
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
    • Respect for student privacy and confidentiality (adherence to FERPA)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Data entry experience
    • Customer service experience
    • Demonstrated experience with database systems
    • Demonstrated office and clerical work experience
    • History of working well both independently and with others

    Schedule:

    • This position will be scheduled to work 5-10 hours per week.
