As Business Analyst M&A you will lead Mergers & Acquisitions support for the Global Corporate FinanceTeam and the Deal Team. You will take part in the execution of transactions from the identification of the opportunity through to closing. You will work in close collaboration with the Group Head of Finance as well as collaborating closely with other Country and Group Functions.

Responsibilities

• Pipeline management, target profiles and analysis

• Producing detailed financial models and valuation scenarios for potential transactions

• Working independently, and collaborating with the Global Group Finance Team, Group Strategy team and Legal team

• Coordinate with a group of often more senior level employees to ensure project timelines are met and relevant due diligence activities are performed comprehensively

• Create presentations and investment conclusions for review by executive management

• Coordinate projects with external counterparties, including target companies, consultants, or legal advisors

• Write and deliver M&A related reports / communications to executive audiences

• Support other financial/treasury analysis projects such as cash flow forecasting, cost of capital analysis and working capital analysis

• 6 months to 3 years’ experience in M&A, Corporate Finance, Private Equity or Debt Advisory.

• Strong academic track record with focus on economics/ business administration/ finance/ engineering or similar.

• Proficient skills in financial modelling and ability to produce deal analysis/ research qualities are desirable.

• Strong cross-functional collaboration abilities, initiative, and teambuilding skills

• Fluent written and spoken English and Dutch, other languages a plus

• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail

• Proficient in Dashboard Power BI and Advanced Excel

• Willingness and ability to travel abroad
