Route Service Technician Trainee-$65,000–$75,000/year

Auto-Chlor System is hiring a Route Service Technician Trainee for our Columbus market.

This is a customer-facing role for someone who is comfortable working with both people and their hands. You’ll manage an established route of commercial customers, build strong relationships, service and maintain equipment, troubleshoot problems, and help customers keep their operations running smoothly.

You don’t need to be an experienced technician—we’ll train you. What we’re looking for is mechanical aptitude, strong people skills, reliability, and the ability to take ownership of your work.

What You’ll Do

• Service and maintain commercial dishwashing and dispensing equipment
•  Troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues
•  Build relationships with customers and provide excellent service
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
•  Work independently while being part of a local team
•  Other duties as assigned include, but not limited to, Installation of dishwashers and Warehouse duties

What We’re Looking For-Minimum Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills
•  Comfortable working with tools and learning equipment
•  Dependable, organized, and self-motivated
•  Able to solve problems and think on your feet
•  Comfortable talking with customers and identifying opportunities
•  Valid driver’s license and good driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years of customer service experience
•  Route sales experience
•  Inside sales experience
