Mid Controlling Manager & Data Analyst

As a Mid Controlling Manager & Data Analyst, you will be part of the Production team and support controlling activities related to vehicle maintenance and repair operations for the German market.

You will work extensively with financial and operational data, combining controlling knowledge with data analysis to monitor costs, identify deviations, and provide insights that support business decisions and process improvements. The role involves working with large datasets, validating financial information, preparing analyses and reports, and supporting the automation and further development of controlling processes and tools.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor, analyze, and control costs related to vehicle maintenance and repair activities
• Work with large financial and operational datasets to identify discrepancies, cost drivers, and improvement opportunities
• Ensure the accurate processing, validation, and documentation of production-related financial data and invoices
• Calculate and track maintenance and repair costs for vehicles
• Analyze cost data and deviations and translate findings into actionable insights
• Collaborate closely with Accounting, Finance, Production, Business Development, Operations, and other internal stakeholders to support cost control and efficient financial processes
• Prepare regular reports, performance analyses, and data-driven insights for business stakeholders
• Support the monitoring of budgets, actual costs, and overall financial performance
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost optimization, and data quality improvements
• Work with Google Spreadsheets, Google Workspace, ERP systems, AI tools, and other data analysis tools to extract, analyze, and present relevant information
• Support the automation and further development of controlling processes, reporting, and data-driven tools

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field
• A few years of experience in controlling, finance, accounting, data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar data-driven role
• Experience in cost controlling, production controlling, operational finance, data analysis, or data-driven business environments is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
• Strong background in data analysis, with hands-on experience working with large datasets and translating data into actionable insights
• Advanced MS Excel skills; experience with Google Spreadsheets, ERP systems, or other financial/data analysis tools is a plus
• Knowledge of SQL is a plus but not required
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial and operational data
• Strong attention to detail and a structured way of working
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• High level of ownership and accountability
• Excellent command of English; German is a plus

The place of work will be at the headquarters of AUTO1 Group Tirana and the shifts provide a total of 40 hours per week, from Monday to Friday.
