LoB Finance consists of a global development organization with teams in Walldorf, Potsdam, Shanghai and Palo Alto that works in close collaboration with customers and partners to support superior finance processes and new business models. The applicant (f/m) will become member of the development team with the focus on Material Ledger as part of Accounting and integration topics into Financials.

The team has a holistic view and takes responsibility on the complete development process with a strong focus on innovation and state of the art user interaction.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- Work as Developer (Associate) in a team on designing, implementing, testing and maintaining software in the functional domain of Accounting in a highly self-motivated, agile and reliable manner, demonstrating passion for delivering first-class applications
- Build up and expand business knowledge within and beyond Financial and Management Accounting.
- Acquire quickly and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant technologies and frameworks, e.g.

UI5, Fiori, HANA platform
- Be accountable for the delivery of the assigned tasks on time, ensuring high quality and high performance
- Share knowledge and collaborate closely with other team members, esp. the product owner, and affiliated teams within and beyond LoB Finance
- Engage in and support of continuous improvement activities
WORK EXPERIENCE
- At least one year of experience in professional software development is beneficial
- University graduates are welcome
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Degree (Bachelor/Master) in computer science, (business) informatics, natural sciences or in a comparable discipline
- Good communication skills in German and English (oral and written)
- Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to new tasks and challenges
- Very good analytical skills, high quality commitment and a self-motivating working style
- Willingness to continuously learn both new technologies and business processes
- High motivation to contribute to team spirit Preferred skills
- Functional and business process knowledge in Finance (however not mandatory)
- Knowledge of JavaScript, ABAP (-OO), HTML5/UI5, HANA technology
