We are hiring a Product Architect, to join the Application Operations team, who will lead technical application operations of solutions supporting Education Services Delivery.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As Product Architect you are responsible to:
- Drive IT Product/Service operational excellence assisted by a multi sourced operations teams that provide operational support for our productive solutions through incident management, major incident de-escalation, problem management, service request delivery, event management, etc.
- Drive continuous improvement of IT Product/Service in terms of operational efficiency, reducing TCO, support quality and customer satisfaction.
- Lead architectural discussions in innovation projects at SAP, engaging all relevant stakeholders, with a focus on architecturally sound, high quality and operable solutions.
- Engage solution and service providers to improve application as well as service quality.
- Ensure IT Product/Service is compliant with technical, quality and process standards.
- Develop skill and competency on latest solutions and technologies relevant to the IT Product/Service.
WORK EXPERIENCE
- A successful candidate has 5+ years of professional experience with 3+ years leading innovation or adoption of SAP ERP solutions.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Required

skills:

- Solid understanding as well as experience in SAP ERP. SAP LSO or SAP SD experience is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of ABAP OO, SAP UI5, SAP Workflow, Forms as well as Integration technologies.
- Solid understanding as well as experience in software architecture methodology
- Solid understanding of agile, test driven development and continuous delivery
- Good understanding in HANA technology (application platform)
- University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Information Technology or Engineering
- Customer orientation with a strong focus on quality
- Strong analytical and logical skills
- Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
- Very good English language skills
- Ability to work in an international team Preferred skills
- Certification in process (e.g.

ITIL), architectural standards (e.g. TOGAF) as well as technical skills (ABAP OO) is an advantage.
- Proficiency in German is an advantage.Walldorf and Singapore as location possible
