The GS Strategic Innovation Unit is building cloud services to cover all kind of globalization needs. In one of our most important projects, we are building the new SAP language platform that enables SAP developers, partners and customers to develop and deliver multi-lingual solutions. To achieve this goal, we are using new technologies like HANA and XS2 and combine it with our many years of experience in building and operating translation tools and platforms.

We are setting up a new development program for the SAP Language Platform with more than 60 developers and scrum teams in 4 different locations. We are looking for an experienced scrum master to define, implement and monitor the lean and agile processes - both on the program level as well as in the role of a scrum master for one scrum team in Germany. You will work closely together with the CPO and the program lead of the new program.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- Define the scrum working models on the program level, in close cooperation with the CPO, the program lead and the QPA
- Act as a scrum mentor for the different teams and the Team-POs in all 4 locations
- Act a scrum master in one newly formed development team in Germany
- Be the driver for agile practices and other lean working modes
- Bring in your own ideas and innovations
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Several years of experience in SAP development teams (as developer, product or project manager)
- At least 2 years of experience as scrum master in a scrum team
- Experience in bigger program setups ("Scrum of Scrum") is highly welcome
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Required

skills:

- Degree in computer or natural science, alternatively BA study or apprenticeship at SAP
- Very good powers of comprehension and high quality commitment
- Willingness to quickly acquire understanding and expertise in new areas
- Fluent in German and English
- Deep and proven understanding of lean methodologies and agile working modes
- Constructive and open style of communication
- Flexibility when dealing with other mentalities and cultures

Preferred skills:

- Experience in SAP Hana and XS development
- Understanding of software testing concepts and experience in Unit Tests
- Understanding of Web Technologies
