EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As domain expert and member of our SAP HANA Cloud Platform organization you will develop and operate the service offerings on Cloud Foundry.

Exposure to newest technologies and open-source projects was and will be your daily life. Specifically you will:
- Bring in your existing cloud expertise with both development and operational topics by guiding and mentoring others
- Review, integrate, extend, develop and operate various cloud services including Cloud Foundry itself
- Work in an agile team applying Scrum, agile development practices and DevOps, thus contributing to team goals, requiring the flexibility and the ability to work on different topics
- We are looking for a strong, committed, self-motivated, reliable and analytically skilled team player and proactive networker who leads by example and knowledge
WORK EXPERIENCE
- More than 3 year experience in cloud development and cloud operation topics
- Working experience in international projects
- Proven experience in guiding and mentoring developers
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Required

skills:

- A good bachelor or master degree in computer science, natural science or a related technical discipline
- Proficiency in state of the art programming languages and concepts with the ability and willingness to share and spread this knowledge
- Proficiency in working within Unix / Linux environments
- Proven knowledge and involvement in open-source products & processes with the will to adopt and use them rather than to reinvent own solutions
- Expertise and readiness to analyze issues on multiple layers ranging from applications, services to operating system level in the code and at runtime
- Curiosity and track record to understand and learn new technologies, concepts, and tools
- Goal-oriented team worker with excellent communication skills embracing agile programming practices
- Fluency in German and English

Preferred skills:

- Excellent knowledge in a wide spread of modern programming languages, e.g. Java, Python, Go, Ruby, JavaScript and the like
- Strongly convinced of and extended experience with Test-Driven-Development, continuous integration, committer/contributor model and pair programming, expert in using Git
- Several years of experience in using, operating and developing on top of cloud infrastructures and services therein, e.g. with Cloud Foundry, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform
