Therefore SAP has to research on the current trends in software security as well as to educate the development organizations accordingly. The organization "Security Research, Product Security and M&A" has the responsibility to prepare SAP's future of secure products with its research teams and drive product security within SAP product development. The Security Research is based on co-innovation through collaborative research with leading universities, partners, customers, and SAP product groups.

Within the Security Research group we look for motivated researchers to work with us on computer security. The research work will address:
- Encrypted computation and search in the cloud
- Anonymization and Privacy
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- You will have the chance to work in a team with internationally leading research experts on state of the art security topics
- We expect you to research, invent and evaluate new security technologies and help us successfully transfer the results into the SAP development organization
- You are supposed to perform the technical management of internal and publicly funded research projects
- You should have strong analytic skills, programming experience, and very good oral and written communication skills in order to present your research SAP internally and externally in the academic community
- We prefer candidates which have a hands-on attitude to solving problems and have had proven results in the past
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Proven research track record in computer security, preferably applied cryptography
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Required

Skills:

- Completed or are about to complete a Ph.D (Computer Science preferred) with very good results
- Strong capabilities in self-organization
- Ability to work in an international team
- Willingness to supervise or assist Ph.D. students
- Fluent English Desired
