EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As a (Senior) Developer in the SAP HANA Database team you will be working with a group of exceptionally talented and motivated colleagues.

- develop and improve the SAP HANA build- and test infrastructure.
- operate, monitor and maintain the SAP HANA infrastructure components and build cluster.
- automate also tricky tasks with your scripting skills in languages like Python or Bash. In addition to that you will ...
- enable SAP HANA core developers to provide coding in high quality as fast as possible.
- continuously improve the quality of the SAP HANA Database by implementing new quality measures.
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Strong C++ programming skills (3 years+ experience)
- Experience with developing & building system software (3 years+)
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

- is fluent in low level programming languages (like C, C++).
- has experience with build description systems like CMake, GNUMake, Scons.
- likes to script in languages like Python or Bash.
- sees a sense in object-oriented software design and software architecture.
- feels comfortable in Linux/Unix based development environments.
- speaks German and English to communicate in our international team.

Knowledge in the following areas will be a plus:
- Git/Gerrit, Jenkins
- Knowledge of a variety of Compilers (like GNU GCC, Clang, ...)
- Boost C++ libraries
- Static and dynamic profiling of software mainly written in C++
