As part of the Consumer Industries organization we are focusing to innovate, adapt and enhance functionalities for Retail Industry customers to respond to the omnichannel requirements where the key capabilities to be provided refer to prices, stock information and product availability across channels and development platforms… In our increasingly service-oriented world we want to simply extend Agile principles beyond the boundaries of "the code" to the entire delivered service… Our key objective is to create automated development and test frameworks which make our development environment and our products easy to use, easy to deploy and easy to consume.

For this we are using existing development and test frameworks and optimize the use of them by developers via automated processes and extensions… If you feel you have the skills to work as both a developer and a systems engineer with a passion for automating systems and infrastructure, we are happy to get to know you.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
What you will do:
- Design and write code to automate the creation and maintenance of infrastructure for different development technologies (Java&ABAP) and products
- Implement, Monitor, Report, Continuous Delivery for / and with our Development Teams
- Experiment with new technologies to optimize the reliability and performance of our infrastructure automation
- Work with other development teams to profile and optimize reference architectures
- Drive the Development Operation Culture & Methodologies adoption in our organization
- Train and bring consulting advices to your colleagues on open source or existing standard solutions.

What we expect:
- Should have extremely good knowledge on Software Development Lifecycle processes.
- Knowledge about various networking protocols & Unix
- Have good knowledge in different data bases (Hana, mongo DB), cloud platforms, continuous Integration tools (e.g. Jenkins), source code management systems (e.g. Git)
- Experience with infrastructure automation, including use of Chef
- Passion for system engineering and automation
WORK EXPERIENCE
We are looking for 5+ Year Experience in Software Development
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Required skills (must have)
- Bachelor or master degree in computer science, business informatics or a related discipline
- Fluency in English and German language - verbal and written
- Development experience with JAVA and ABAP including automation tools (JUNIT, ABAPUNIT…)
- Experience with HANA as Database, SQL Knowledge
- Excellent organization, documentation and communication skills
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Preferred skills (good to have)
- Development experience in cloud development environment.
- Business Application Knowledge: SAP Customer Activity Repository, SAP ERP, SAP - Hybris
