EDW Product Management is a global team and responsible for the portfolio of SAP EDW and for field enablement. Within our team, we practice a trust-based working model.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
The SAP EDW Product Management team requires a Senior Product Specialist/ Product Expert who will actively support SAP BW powered by HANA and the HANA native DW approach. This includes the active implementation support at customers as well as field enabling.

A strong technical background with very deep knowledge in BW architecture and implementation considerations for " BW on HANA" is a must. In addition to this excellent skills in HANA and SQL based DW approaches are mandatory for this position. The BW EDW Senior Product Specialist/ Product Expert also needs to interact on a daily basis with development teams, product architects, field support teams and key product stakeholders including SAP solution teams, partners and customers to further influence product enhancements and drive pilot and release programs.
WORK EXPERIENCE
- At least 8 years of experience in SAP BW including at least 2 years BW on HANA implementation experience as well as experience in SQL based DW approaches gained in a combination out of consulting / product management.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Minimum Bachelor degree in Computer Science
- EECS or foreign degree equivalent
- Ability to act as an advisor in the development/engineering organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills
- Proven EDW implementation (BW on HANA, HANA native EDW) experience
- Excellent SQL skills
- Excellent skill as a moderator
- Excellent customer orientation
- Effective teamwork & collaboration skill
- Excellent English and German language skills
