You will be part of a team consisting of technical writers and translators in the Line of Business Finance. We work in the Lean Development Model, an agile development method that empowers teams and requires strong team and collaboration skills. As an information developer, you will work very closely with software developers, product owners, and translators.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Your job will be to ensure that exactly the right information is available in the right place, at the right time; the customer will benefit from concise and accurate documentation that clearly describes the functions provided by the SAP solutions.

Your tasks will include:
- Coordinating User Assistance (UA) projects in our development organization
- Contributing to new UA concepts
- Writing documentation for new business concepts (in close consultation with software developers)
- Describing application installation and configuration
- Proof-reading and editing content for usability and readability
- Ensuring quality aspects and adherence to standards and guidelines
- Creating system documentation
- Defining terminology
WORK EXPERIENCE
Preferably minimum of 5 years work experience.
- 5+ years' experience in information development
- Experience in leading project teams that are distributed over multiple functions or locations
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- A good to excellent university degree in technical writing or a related subject or, alternatively, a language-based university degree
- Native English speaker (with a good knowledge of German), or native German speaker with excellent oral and written knowledge of English
- Experience in documentation tools and documentation standards as well as MS Office applications, especially MS Word and MS PowerPoint
- Willingness to acquire extensive product knowledge and learn new skills at short notice Required skills
- Proven experience in technical writing
- Proven track record in leading project teams with operational excellence
- Proven experience in working on UA/documentation concepts
- Outstanding communication and writing skills
- The ability to work to tight deadlines, deliver on time, and ensure high quality
- Flexibility and a readiness to communicate with other team members and to participate in knowledge transfer Preferred skills
- Experience in new or social media and user experience is a plus
