Beside a strong integration into ECC logistics processes we face frequently changing technologies used in the warehouse like handheld devices, scales, any kind of automatic systems controlled by PLCs or recently the smart glasses. EWM has evolved out of a customer development project to be SAP's strategic standard warehousing solution going forward also with S/4. Organizational wise we belong to the product unit "Transportation and Logistics".

The EWM development consists of three teams located in Walldorf and one team in Shanghai - all working close collaboration with customers and partners. EWM is already in the leader's quadrant of Gardner which means that we are seen at the market as a best of bread solution. The current customer base is around 800+ customers and it is growing quite fast.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
We are looking for a high motivated Associate Developer which has an aptitude for translating business scenarios into technical solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.

Your will be expected to:
- Actively contribute to all steps within development (backlog definition, specification, design, implementation, quality assurance, ramp up support)
- Show initiative and drive topics to resolution in a high level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiency
- Collaborate and work closely with other team members and teams
- Show high customer orientation
WORK EXPERIENCE
We are looking for candidates with exceptional promise who are either about to graduate or have already graduated with a maximum of 2 years work experience, and who aspire a career in business software development.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- University Degree (Bachelor, Diploma, Master, PhD) in Computer Science, Natural Science or Engineering
- Fluency in spoken and written German and English
- Experience in at least one OO programming language, HTML5/UI5, oData, JavaScript and ABAP know how preferred
- Team Player with strong analytical and communication skills
- Open minded, problem-solving attitude and positive spirit even under challenging conditions
- Knowhow in logistics especially warehouse management processes is a plus Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships).
