Role Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned AI Architect to join our growing AI & Cloud practice. You will lead the design and implementation of intelligent systems powered by AWS AI services — with a particular focus on Amazon Bedrock, Bedrock Agents, and OpenSearch. You will work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver production-grade AI architectures that are secure, cost-efficient, and enterprise-ready.

Key Responsibilities:

AI Architecture & Design

• Architect end-to-end AI/ML solutions leveraging AWS Bedrock foundation models (Anthropic Claude, Amazon Titan, Meta Llama, Mistral, etc.)
• Design multi-agent orchestration systems using Amazon Bedrock Agents, including agent action groups, knowledge bases, and guardrails
• Define embedding pipelines, vector indexing strategies, and retrieval patterns for RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) applications
• Establish semantic and lexical search architectures using Amazon OpenSearch Service (including k-NN vector search and hybrid search)
• Create architecture blueprints, decision records (ADRs), and technical reference designs for AI platforms

AWS Cloud & Platform Engineering

• Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS using services such as Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, Step Functions, S3, and IAM
• Integrate Bedrock workflows with AWS data services (Glue, Athena, RDS, DynamoDB) and event-driven pipelines (Kinesis, SQS, EventBridge)
• Implement security best practices including VPC isolation, PrivateLink, KMS encryption, and fine-grained IAM policies for AI workloads
• Drive infrastructure-as-code practices using AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform

Technical Leadership

• Act as the primary AI/ML architecture advisor to clients, translating business needs into actionable technical roadmaps
• Lead proof-of-concept (PoC) development for AI features and present findings to engineering and executive stakeholders
• Mentor development teams on prompt engineering, model evaluation, LLM fine-tuning, and responsible AI practices
• Conduct architecture reviews and ensure adherence to AWS Well-Architected Framework principles

Collaboration & Delivery

• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and software engineers throughout the software development lifecycle
• Define and track AI solution KPIs including latency, accuracy, retrieval relevance, cost-per-query, and model hallucination rates
• Produce detailed technical documentation, runbooks, and client-facing deliverables

Required Qualifications:

Core Experience

• 8+ years of software engineering or cloud architecture experience, with 3+ years focused on AI/ML or generative AI solutions
• Proven hands-on expertise with Amazon Bedrock, including model invocation APIs, Bedrock Agents, Knowledge Bases, and Guardrails
• Deep experience designing and operating Amazon OpenSearch Service clusters, including vector search (k-NN), index management, and relevance tuning
• Strong proficiency in Python; familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or equivalent orchestration frameworks is a plus
• Experience building and deploying RAG pipelines integrating foundation models with enterprise data sources

AWS Expertise

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) strongly preferred; AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty is a plus
• Solid understanding of AWS networking, identity, and security services in the context of AI workloads
• Experience with multi-account AWS architectures (AWS Organizations, Control Tower) and enterprise-scale deployments
