Our pediatric private duty nurses provide one-on-one care in the comfort of the patient's home or school setting. We consider it both a privilege and an honor when we welcome a new patient into our family.
Our care is delivered with heartfelt compassion and empathy, and our nurses play an important role in helping children achieve the best possible clinical outcomes while supporting their families.
Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered RN license in the state in which the clinician will practice
Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days
Current CPR certification with hands-on component — Aveanna can assist with obtaining this requirement after hire, if necessary
TB skin test current within the last 12 months
Six months of prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
Pediatric nursing experience preferred
Must have reliable transportation
Additional clinical experience or screening may be required based on the needs of the individual patient
