We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Group Reservations Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is vital in ensuring seamless coordination between sales, marketing, accounting, conference services, and group meeting planners to deliver exceptional service and accurate bookings. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and committed to maximizing occupancy and revenue through efficient reservation management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with Sales & Marketing, Accounting, Conference Services, and Group Meeting Planners to facilitate smooth reservation processes.
- Create, update, and maintain group room blocks, booking links, and reservations to meet client needs.
- Ensure clients are provided with the appropriate room types, facilities, and services as per their requirements.
- Handle all reservations in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner, providing excellent customer service.
- Quote and negotiate rates to maximize room revenue and average daily rate in accordance with Avion standards.
- Monitor and manage group inventory and rates to optimize hotel occupancy and profitability.
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, client preferences, and special requests.
- Assist in resolving any booking discrepancies or issues promptly and effectively.
- Support the sales team with reporting and analysis related to group bookings and occupancy trends.
