What you'll be doing:

At Avon, we're passionate about creating innovative products that delight our customers and drive business growth. We're looking for a Fashion & Home Junior Buyer to join our Beauty+ Innovation Team and help shape exciting, trend-led product ranges from concept through to launch.
Reporting to the Beauty+ Innovation & Buying Lead, you'll work across a global network of partners, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to bring commercially successful products to market while supporting our innovation and category growth strategy.
As a Junior Buyer, you'll play an important role in identifying new product opportunities and helping to build commercially compelling product ranges that align with business objectives. You'll use consumer insights, market trends, and performance data to inform decisions and support product innovation. Working closely with teams across Product Development, Brand, Procurement, Planning, Supply Chain, and Forecasting, you'll help manage the product development process from initial concept through to launch. You'll also contribute to supplier relationships, support sourcing activities, and use sales performance insights to continuously improve future product ranges.

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting product innovation and annual category planning activities.

• Identifying emerging trends, market opportunities, and customer insights.

• Developing product assortments and recommendations that balance creativity and commercial objectives.

• Creating clear product and design briefs for suppliers and development partners.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver products on time and within cost targets.

• Supporting supplier performance management, sourcing activities, and cost negotiations.

• Maintaining accurate product information and analyzing product performance data.

• Contributing to the development of Avon’s international product pipeline and category strategy.

What we're looking for

• Experience in Buying, Product Development, New Product Development (NPD), Category Management, or a related field.

• A degree in Buying, Marketing, Fashion, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance customer, brand, and business needs.

• Analytical skills and confidence working with sales data, market insights, and trends.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across teams.

• Experience working with suppliers and supporting negotiations around cost, lead times, and product delivery.

• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

• An agile, proactive approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience within beauty, fashion, home, lifestyle, or a related consumer product category would be advantageous.
