Your New Role

This role sits at the intersection of financial advice, technology, and regulatory compliance, with responsibility for the ongoing management, enhancement, and governance of Aware Super's digital advice capabilities. You'll play a critical role in ensuring our digital advice solutions remain accurate, compliant, and fit for purpose, helping thousands of Australians access quality financial guidance and advice. Working closely with advice, risk, compliance, actuarial, technology, and business stakeholders, you'll provide technical leadership across our digital advice platforms and advice document ecosystem.

Some responsibilities include:

• Own business-as-usual activities relating to digital advice applications, advice calculations, and advice documentation;
• Manage testing, deployment, and release activities across digital advice platforms and documentation updates;
• concise dot points reflecting key accountabilities
• Maintain and enhance advice document templates and associated content repositories;
• Drive quality assurance through robust testing frameworks, including automated testing capabilities; and
• Manage incidents, defects, and remediation activities across digital advice platforms.

How do you exceed our expectations?

• Strong knowledge of personal financial advice and financial planning practices;
• Experience in digital advice solutions, AdviceOS, or advice documentation platforms will be highly regarded;
• Experience working with financial advice technology platforms or advice applications;
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within financial services;
• Experience managing system enhancements, releases, testing, or technology change initiatives;
  
• You are balanced in accepting risk in any decision you face. You are curious to understand risk context and choose to speak up as we simplify, learn and grow.
