    About this opportunity
    As a Protect Administrator, you’ll be part of the Protect Team within our Member Engagement, Education and Advice Value Streams. You’ll manage day‑to‑day administration of insurance underwriting applications, corporate account processes and member support activities — contributing directly to improved member experience and outcomes.
    This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys problem‑solving, and takes pride in delivering high‑quality, accurate work.
    This is a full-time contract (hourly rate), commencing in September 2026 until December 2026.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Administer insurance underwriting applications, exceptions, member correspondence, and insurer liaison, ensuring accurate and timely processing;
    • Manage corporate account administration including application processing, employer communications, salary‑based insurance updates, and premium reconciliation;
    • Provide member support via phone and email, including assistance with insurance queries, financial hardship applications and escalation handling for vulnerable members;
    • Process insurance proceeds, premium refunds, new account creation and indexing of inbound correspondence across Zendesk and related systems;
    • Support risk, compliance and incident management activities by raising breaches, providing root‑cause analysis for data exceptions, and contributing to remediation; and
    • Collaborate across internal teams, providing administrative support, improving process quality, and contributing to data integrity and reporting enhancements.

    How do you exceed our expectations?

    • The idea of being part of our growth is exciting and you want to play a pivotal role in making super simple;
      Strong experience in administration processing, ideally in a customer‑focused environment;
    • Experience in superannuation administration and insurance, will be highly regarded;
    • Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal;
    • High attention to detail, resilience under pressure and the ability to manage complex exceptions;
    • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently;
    • RG146 for superannuation is an advantage; and
    • You are balanced in accepting risk in any decision you face. You are curious to understand risk context and choose to speak up as we simplify, learn and grow.

    Employee experience
    We’re passionate about providing an employee experience that is full of opportunity for our people to develop and grow in their careers. We provide employee benefits that truly make our workplace the best place to work including generous leave offerings, salary continuance insurance, flexible working, professional and personal development and health and well-being initiatives.
