Your New Role

The Liquidity and Markets team at Aware is growing. As we continue to expand our securities finance and beta capabilities, we're investing in the people, technology and market infrastructure needed to deliver stronger implementation alpha and outcomes for our members. We're now looking for an experienced securities finance specialist to grow that capability and deliver exceptional execution.
This is an exciting time to be joining Liquidity & Markets, and a rare opportunity to play a key role in the management and evolution of an internalised securities finance function. Working across financing, derivatives and collateral management, you'll help drive investment outcomes for our members, while developing scalable processes, strengthening market relationships and identifying new opportunities across global markets. Your role will include:

• Support the development and day-to-day management of securities finance strategies across asset classes, using both physical and synthetic instruments.
  
• Execute and manage the full lifecycle of derivatives and physical transactions, including, collateral, financing and trade implementation.
  
• Undertake market, portfolio and relative-value analysis to identify financing opportunities, implementation risks and trading insights.
  
• Build and maintain relationships with broker-dealers, banks, agent lenders and service providers to support execution, market intelligence and strategic initiatives.
  
• Drive innovation through AI, automation and process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, scalability and control frameworks.

How do you exceed our expectations?

• The idea of being part of our growth is exciting and you want to play a pivotal role in making super simple.
• 5+ years’ experience in financial markets, investment management, investment banking or a similar institutional investment environment.
  
• Hands-on experience across derivatives execution, implementation and portfolio management, with securities finance and/or balance sheet management expertise.
  
• Strong understanding of transaction lifecycle management, collateral, financing, counterparty risk and supporting legal documentation.
  
• Experience implementing physical or synthetic beta strategies, or closely related portfolio implementation solutions, is highly regarded.
  
• Strong analytical capability, advanced Excel skills and experience using market and investment systems such as Bloomberg and Aladdin, combined with a passion for leveraging AI and automation to improve investment processes.
  
• You are balanced in accepting risk in any decision you face. You are curious to understand risk context and choose to speak up as we simplify, learn and grow.
