We're looking for an experienced Powder Coater Level II who takes pride in producing exceptional work, follows proven processes, and understands that quality comes from consistency. What You'll Do
As a Powder Coater II, you'll play a key role in delivering the high-quality finishes our customers expect by:
- Applying powder coatings evenly and consistently on a variety of metal components and assemblies
- Reviewing work orders, job numbers, and color specifications to ensure accuracy
- Inspecting finished parts for proper coverage, appearance, and quality standards
- Performing touch-ups and rework when necessary to achieve a superior finish
- Identifying, troubleshooting, and correcting common coating defects
- Assisting with color changes while preventing contamination between runs
- Cleaning and maintaining spray guns, booths, and related equipment
- Safely moving materials through the coating and curing process
- Working closely with team members to maintain production flow and quality expectations
- Serving as a resource for less experienced team members by sharing best practices and proper techniques
- Following established operating procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements with precision

What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of powder coating, industrial painting, or related finishing experience
- Working knowledge of powder coating equipment, application techniques, and finishing processes
- Ability to recognize and correct common coating defects
- Demonstrated ability to consistently follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality requirements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to safely lift, move, and position materials as required
- A positive attitude and strong team-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience setting up, adjusting, and optimizing powder coating equipment
- Experience using coating inspection or quality verification tools
- Experience mentoring or training less experienced team members
