Job purpose:
Responsible for delivering goods to and from designated locations on time. May also load and unload trailer/truck. Prepares receipts, verifies orders, and may collect payment for deliveries. Assist in sorting & rearrangement of goods for storage.
Job responsibilities:
Vehicle Movement/Delivery:
- To inspect all the vehicles before the start of delivery/movement.
- Proper care in handling of new vehicles – Reduction of repair costs and delays.
- Due care in loading / unloading of vehicles on the Car carriers to avoid transit damages – Safety Norms.
- To follow AAC delivery procedure – Vehicle movement record.
Equipment Care:
- To operate company vehicle with due care & avoid damages – Minimum maintenance cost.
- To follow Traffic rules & Road safety norms– To avoid road accidents & maintain company image.
Educational Qualification
Work Experience
- 2 – 3 years of hands-on experience in driving of Light duty vehicles
Competencies
- Interpersonal relations & be able to work in multicultural environment.
- Ability to work under stress & adaptation to change. Willing to work in any shift & for long hours, if required.
- Able to communicate effectively via oral media Oral communication skills – English/Arabic/Hindi
- Understands the importance of superior Customer Service.
