Match Support Specialist

SUMMARY: Responsible for conducting match support phone calls while providing supervision, follow-up and support in case load. Assists with special events, as program representative.
SUPERVISOR: Big Brother’s & Sister’s Program Manager
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide supervision, follow-up, and support for all matches in the case load. Refer short-term crisis intervention to the Program Director as needed.
• Keep accurate and timely case notes on each contact with volunteers, youth, family, and other significant people in each case.
• Complete volunteer reference checks.
• Complete volunteer and client reassessments as requested by the program director.
• Under the direction of the Program Director, plan, coordinate, and supervise monthly group activities for volunteers and youth in the program.
Assist as needed in coordinating and/or implementing special events such as training sessions, orientation meetings for volunteers, group supervision sessions, and fund-raising events.
• Complete volunteer and client intake screening.
• Complete administrative duties as assigned by program director
• Share in general office housekeeping to keep the work environment pleasant.
• Perform all duties in a timely manner.
• Represent the program to the public in a positive and energetic manner.
• Complies with agency policies and procedures, COA regulations, federal and state requirements, and educational/certification/registry requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
