Financial Analyst

<p dir="ltr"><strong>Job role:</strong></p><p dir="ltr">To a lot of people, finance is just entering a bunch of numbers into a spreadsheet and working with payroll. But, not you. You know the real secret, the real power that a financial analyst holds. You are a mover and shaker, plowing through data and investigating a business’s revenue, credit, overhead and expenses.

You work closely with management to make critical decisions about expense management and financial movements. If that sounds like something you’d be good at, check out the requirements and send us your application.</p><p dir="ltr"><br></p><p dir="ltr"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li dir="ltr">Analyze financial data and prepare reports with insights, trends and recommended actions for management</li><li dir="ltr">Work with management to develop annual budget, five year plan and capital plan</li><li dir="ltr">Build a financial forecast model based on analysis of past performance data</li><li dir="ltr">Track data to determine actual performance versus forecast data</li><li dir="ltr">Root cause analysis of core issues using data</li><li dir="ltr">Assist employees with financial questions and analysis</li><li dir="ltr">Analyze processes and implement improvements</li><li dir="ltr">Review accounting transactions for accuracy</li><li dir="ltr">Keeps oneself up to date with the rest of the field by attending workshops and following publications</li></ul><p dir="ltr"><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li dir="ltr">Bachelor's degree in Accountancy and/or Finance</li><li dir="ltr">CPA certification or 3 years of experience working in a similar position</li><li dir="ltr">Sound knowledge of fundamental accounting principles, laws and regulations</li><li dir="ltr">Experience managing and analyzing large sets of data</li><li dir="ltr">Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel</li><li dir="ltr">Experience with forecasting, budgeting, data analysis and interpretation</li><li dir="ltr">Basic understanding of ERP</li><li dir="ltr">Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills</li><li dir="ltr">Strong organizational skills</li></ul>
