Electrical Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Building Services team in Auckland. From hospitals and aged care facilities to commercial, residential, retail and industrial developments, you’ll work with clients and colleagues across disciplines to deliver practical, high-performing electrical solutions.

About the Role 

As an Electrical Engineer within our Building Services team, you’ll be involved in the design and delivery of electrical services across a broad range of projects throughout New Zealand. You’ll develop designs and documentation, manage your own project priorities and work directly with clients. You’ll collaborate across disciplines to deliver integrated building designs, while also getting out on site for construction monitoring and project support.

There’s plenty of variety and technical challenge, along with the opportunity to strengthen your client-facing experience and continue developing your technical and professional capability.

We’re keen to hear from engineers with: 

• An Electrical Engineering degree recognised under the Washington Accord, or equivalent
• 5+ years’ post-graduate experience within a building services consultancy
• Strong electrical building services design experience
• Experience with 3D design tools (Revit) and coordinating services across disciplines
• Confidence managing multiple projects, priorities and client relationships
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
• A positive, proactive and client-focused approach
• A willingness to become Chartered, if not already
• Experience with healthcare or hospital projects including ELV services would be advantageous.
