Babylonstoren is seeking a reliable and efficient Picker & Packer to join our dispatch team. The successful candidate will ensure that customer orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately, timeously, and to the highest quality standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse, dispatch, or logistics environment would be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick products from stock according to order sheets.
- Pack orders securely and correctly, ensuring products are protected and labelled properly.
- Prepare goods for dispatch, including palletising, wrapping, and loading.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dispatch and storage areas.
- Conduct quality and quantity checks before dispatch.
- Fill in traceability sheets accurately.
- Assist with stock rotation and inventory counts when required.
- Always follow health and safety procedures.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages promptly to the Dispatch/Warehouse Manager.
