Medical Assistant/Patient Services Representative

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a dependable and flexible individual to fill a dual position as both a Patient Services Representative (PSR) and Medical Assistant (MA) in our Roseville/Fair Oaks offices. This full-time position requires working as a PSR on designated days and as a Medical Assistant on others, providing comprehensive support to both our patients and clinical team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Patient Services Representative

Duties:

Greet patients Check in patients and assist with individual concerns, as they arise Collect appropriate information including insurance overview, co-pay and deductible assignment and open balances Performs administrative tasks and must be cross trained on medical assistant responsibilities to provide support as needed Other tasks, as assigned Medical Assistant

Duties:

Interview patients to gather medical history and update medical records Gather basic vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, height, weight and pulse Prepare treatment rooms and patients for exam Sterilize necessary instruments Manage medical supplies and materials and work with Area Supervisor to order necessary inventory Take appropriate x-rays
