Patient Services Representative

Position Overview

We are seeking a Patient Services Representative (PSR) to serve as the first point of contact for our patients. In this role, you will be responsible for welcoming patients, managing appointment scheduling, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience. You will also support a variety of administrative and office functions as needed.

Working closely with both providers and patients, you will play a key role in maintaining efficient daily operations while delivering a high standard of compassionate care. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys a dynamic, patient-facing role.

Travel Requirement: This is an on-site position based in our Avon office.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls promptly and direct them appropriately, including taking accurate, detailed messages and ensuring timely follow-up
• Schedule appointments for new and existing patients both by phone and in person
• Greet patients warmly upon arrival and efficiently manage the check-in and check-out process
• Utilize the electronic medical record (EMR) system to:
• Verify insurance coverage and process disability forms
• Confirm that referrals and prior authorizations are obtained and documented
• Update patient demographic information as needed
• Collect co-pays and outstanding balances in a professional manner
• Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations
