Ballard Truck Center in Manchester, NH is looking for a Parts Back Counter Representative.
Responsibilities and Duties
Parts Back Counter Representative Responsibilities Include:
- Assist technicians and customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, offer specials, and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
- Pull purchased parts from stock
- If the part is not in stock, determine availability and submit an emergency order if requested by the customer.
- Answer phone calls in a timely manner, providing price quotes and other information.
- Assist outside sales representatives with their orders.
- Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
- Notify customer re: ordered parts, promptly restock returns, cores.
- Be friendly, professional and efficient when working with all customers, both on the phone and in person
Qualifications and Skills
Parts Back Counter Representative Job Requirements:
- Must have prior, relevant experience (parts lookup experience)
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Must have at least basic computer skills
- Professional, personal appearance.
- Ability to work well with the public, sometimes with several customers at a time.
- Ability to work both individually and as a team
- Must be able to lift 50lbs or more
- Will be required to wear a dealership provided uniform.
